We sell directly to the public. You do not
have to be a dealer & you do not have to have a Federal
Firearms License (FFL) to buy from PersonalSecurityZone.com.
(Firearms sales require FFL transfer. For details on how
to buy a firearm, see the section titled How to Buy Firearms.)

On the header, you may search the most popular product type
by clicking on one of the blue tabs. However, there are
many more product types for sale on our site. So, please
visit our Search
Options page, where you can find a search engine or
wizard to fit your needs.

page, help page or view the contents of your shopping cart.
Placing Your Order
You don't have to setup an account. You will
not need to remember any user id or password. If you ever
have any questions about your order during the ordering
billing and shipping process, all you have to do is call
or email us and you will receive a prompt response.

About Stock Quantities
Displayed on our Web Site
If you see an item displayed on our
site, it's IN STOCK within the last 24 hours. That's
because at PersonalSecurityZone.com we make every effort
to make sure that the items we display for sale on our Web
site are actually in stock and ready for sale. But, please
understand that no inventory database is 100% perfect. Here's
how the stock quantities on our site work...
So that you will know the most current availability
of each product, we display the Quantity in Stock on each
product page. The Quantity in Stock for each product is
updated every morning before the start of the business day,
and we do not take orders for out-of-stock items. This means
that we do our best to make sure that you always see items
that are actually in stock on PersonalSecurityZone.com,
and you also see how many of each item is available.
The Quantity in Stock tallys up the quantity
available in the warehouses. So, the quantity you see on
the Web page for each item shows its availability nationwide.
We make every attempt possible to keep the
Quantity in Stock up to date for all products, so that you
will not have to worry about availability when placing your
order. However, on a some occasions, an item may be in very
short supply (for example: Quantity in Stock is 1 or 2)
and more than one order might be placed in our online store
for that item. In this case, the orders will be processed
on a first-come first-serve basis. Although we try to prevent
this from happening, it does - especially at Christmas shopping
time or for products that are extremely popular or collector's
items. In this event, we will contact you as soon as possible
and will also let you know if the item will become available
again soon, and when.
You Can Receive Automatic Notification of
Restocking: If an item is out of stock and the manufacturer
plans to restock it, we display the item and give you the
option of receiving an automatic email notification when
the item is restocked. (Updated 1/18/2010)
It is possible to order more than the stock
quantity displayed: Even though it is possible for you to
order more than the quantity in stock, please do not expect
that you will receive more than we have in stock. It is
unreasonable to expect that we can ship you more than we
have in stock of any item. If you order more than we have
of any item, we will automatically send only the items we
have in stock, and we will adjust your order accordingly.
If this policy is unacceptable to you, then do not place
your order before contacting us with your requirements and

Tracking for Your
Orders
When your order is shipped, you will receive
an email notice of shipping. Included on your notice will
be the Federal Express, UPS or US Post Office tracking number
for your package, plus instructions for how to track the
progress of your package. Tracking numbers are used by shippers
to identify and trace every package as it travels to its
destination. You can use this number to track, locate and
verify arrival of your package, as well as other details.

How to Buy Firearms

All firearms on PersonalSecurityZone.com
can be sold to the public. However, a few extra steps are
required. We do our best to make your online firearm purchase
effortless and efficient, although there are laws and regulations
that we must follow.

The details are below. (These steps apply
to firearms sales only & are usually not required for
Black Powder non-firearms or air rifles, air pistols, and
stun guns, which are also non-firearms. Some states require
these steps for Black Powder - those states are listed at
the bottom of this section. For purchasing airguns, airsoft
and stun guns, scroll down for more information.)
We do not ship your firearm directly to you.
We must ship your firearm to an FFL (Federal Firearms License)
Dealer near you, and your FFL dealer will then transfer
ownership to you after filling out the required state and
local paperwork. Therefore, we will wait to process your
order until you let us know who you have chosen for your
FFL Dealer.
Yes, we ship to California and are approved
thru the California Firearms Licensee Check (CFLC) system
as well as being a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL)
by the Bureau of Alcohol Firearms and Tobacco (BATF).
We do not ship firearms out of the United
States. We do not have a firearms export license.
The steps to follow are:
-
Order your firearm online using our secure shopping
cart. Or, give us a call for personal service. When
you order, you may fill in the name, address and phone
number of your local FFL Dealer, who will receive your
firearm and then transfer it to you. If you don't know
a FFL Dealer in your area, put a comment in your order
form, or call us, and we will help you locate one near
you. We have access to a large list of FFL Dealers in
almost every town in the USA that will gladly handle a
transfer for you. Most sporting goods stores will provide
this service for a small fee. Also, pawn shops, gun clubs,
shooting ranges, etc. may provide this service to you.
- Important: We do not charge your credit card until
we have received your FFL Dealer's information (see
step 3 below).
- Next, fax or mail us an original signed FFL (Federal
Firearms License) from your FFL Dealer. Our fax number
is (775) 841-0671 - we must receive a signed copy. Please
have your dealer note on the FFL - your name - so that
we can match up the FFL with your order. It is standard
procedure for your dealer to charge you a paperwork fee
(average $25.00 - $50.00 or more in some urban areas)
to receive the gun for you. Most dealers will provide
this service. If not, you will need to find another dealer.
(Later, you must pass all local requirements when you
pick up the gun.)
- Make sure the dealer knows the firearm is coming from
us. Give them our Web address PersonalSecurityZone.com
in Carson City, Nevada. Our contact information appears
on the bottom of every page on our Web site.
- Your credit card will be billed after we receive
your FFL Dealer's information. Then, your firearm
will be prepared for shipment to your FFL Dealer. If your
product has gone out of stock due to the delay in receiving
your FFL Dealer's information, we not bill your credit
card until the product is in stock, and we will notify
you that a delay has occurred, plus our ETA (estimated
time of arrival) for your product.
- We will send you an email when the firearm ships. You
will receive the Federal Express tracking number of your
package. (For more information, See Shipping/Handling
Costs & Times below.)
- We have a No Returns policy on all firearms and black
powder rifles. So, make sure you want the gun that you
order before you place your order. If you have any questions
about the product as it is described on our site or the
manufacturer's site, ask us before placing your order.

Check
Your Local Laws and Before Ordering
Some states and localities have prohibitions that prevent
us from shipping there. You can scroll down to read restrictions
on the following items.
- Black Powder "Non-Firearms"
- Air Guns and Airsoft/SoftairGuns - "Non Firearms"
- Stun Guns - "Non Firearms"
- Ammunition and Pellets/BBs
- High Capacity Magazines
We follow all state and local laws, ordinances and restrictions,
and therefore we do not ship everything we sell to all states.
Below are some examples of restrictions. However, laws change
all the time, so please check your local restrictions before
placing your order.
We have no control over the laws in your state or city,
and we reserve the right to refuse your order. If you place
an order for an item prohibited for sale in your, it will
be cancelled immediately. Your credit card will not be billed,
and you will not receive the product(s).
Therefore, controlled items including hicap mags must be
shipped to the same address as the customer's credit card
billing address.
Please Know Your Local Laws and Ordinances
It is the responsibility of the buyer and user, not PersonalSecurityZone.com,
to understand your local and state laws before placing an
order. If you are unsure of your state's laws pertaining
to any products you want to order, you should consult local
or state authorities to be certain you are not breaking
any laws.
Black Powder "Non-Firearms"
Black Powder muzzleloaders are not defined as "firearms"
by the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (BATF).
Therefore, these can be shipped directly to the purchaser
and do not require sale through a FFL (Federal Firearms
Licensee) in most states. However, there are some states
with restrictions:
Residents of HI, IL, MA, MI, NJ, and NY please check your
local laws for restrictions before ordering any Black Powder
firearm.
All black powder/muzzleloader orders from the states of
MI, IL & NJ or shipping to the states of states of MI,
IL & NJ must be placed through an FFL. In these states,
please follow our instructions in the section of this page
titled How to Buy Firearms.
Air Guns and Airsoft/Softair Guns
- "Non Firearms"
Please check your local laws and ordinances before ordering,
because we sell these items only where legal. Sales of air
rifles, bb guns or CO2 powered pistols and rifles are restricted
in many states and municipalities. We are sorry but we can
not always update this page with all the changes in rules,
laws and ordinances, but we try. Therefore, when we receive
your order, we check the database of restrictions that is
compiled and updated by our distributors, and if your locality
is restricted, we will notify you and your card will not
be charged. Therefore, if you would like to buy an air rifle,
bb gun or CO2 powered pistol or rifle, go ahead and place
your order, and then we will notify you if the order can
not be filled. (Updated 8/26/10)
- Special conditions for New Jersey: You
can purchase bb guns, air guns or Airsoft/Soft Air. We
need a copy of your State of NJ Firearms Purchaser Identification
Card You can fax it to 775-841-0671, or
use the email link at the bottom of this page to request
instructions for how to email us an image of your license
(.jpg, .gif or .bmp).
- Most areas of New York State can purchase
air buns, bb guns and Airsoft/Soft Air guns from us, except...
- Special conditions for New York zip code 115xx
and Baltimore, MD: You
can purchase bb guns, air guns or Airsoft/Soft Air. We
need a copy of your driver's license to
prove you are over 18 years of age. You can fax it to
775-841-0671, or use the email link at the bottom of this
page to request instructions for how to email us an image
of your license (.jpg, .gif or .bmp).
- Residents of New York City and its boroughs
(Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, these
zip codes are: 100xx-104xx, 110xx, 112xx-114xx, 116xx)
cannot buy bb guns, air guns or Airsoft/Soft Air guns
from us.
- Special conditions for Michigan residents,
.177 caliber air rifles and smooth bore air pistols can
be purchased and will be shipped directly to you.
For all other air guns (other than smooth bore) of any
caliber, we need a copy of your permit issued by your
State or Local authority. You can fax it to 775-841-0671,
or use the email link at the bottom of this page to request
instructions for how to email us an image of your license
(.jpg, .gif or .bmp).
Michigan residents, if you would like to purchase something
other than a .177 caliber air rifle, we will ship it to
you, however you will then need to:
1. After receiving your air gun from PersonalSecurityZone.com...
2. Find a participating dealer/retailer and let us know
where to ship your gun. The item will be shipped to the
designated dealer/retailer in your area. Your job is to
find a dealer for us to ship to. To do so...
3. Go to your local police department to obtain a Permit
to Purchase the airgun. Each airgun purchase must have
a separate Permit.
4. After the Permit is issued to you by the Police take
it to the gun store where your gun will be shipped.
5. After the Permit is presented to the store and the
fee is paid they will hand over the airgun to you.
6. Take the airgun back to the police department, where
they will conduct a safety check and ballistics test.
Stun Guns "Non Firearms"
- No stun gun sales to New York, New Jersey, Illinois,
Massachusetts, Michigan, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Hawaii.
Please check your local laws for restrictions before ordering,
because we do not ship where not allowed.

Hi Cap mags are those with over 10 rounds.
- No sales of Hi Cap mags to California or Hawaii.
- No sales of pistol Hi Cap mags to New York or Massachusetts.
(However, rifle Hi Cap mags are OK to sell to these states.)

Shipping/Handling
Costs and Times
We bill for Federal Express, UPS or US Post
Office shipping to your location from ours (Carson City,
NV 89702) or the warehouse where your order ships from (Texas,
Illinois, Arizona or Nevada in most cases). Our shipping
calculation is usually the same or just a couple dollars
more than our actual cost. We do not attempt to mark up
shipping, so there is not really any handling fee.
We choose the most economical and reliable
shipping service for each order. Due to the nature of the
products we sell (firearms, hazmats like pepper sprays,
self defense items and expensive orders that require adult
signature, customer special requests, and so on) we decide
whether UPS, US Post Office or FedEx will be best for each
particular order, based on our experience with the different
shipping options. Generally, we choose FedEx due to our
good experience with their reliability and competitive pricing.
We use US Post Office Priority Mail for handguns. APO orders
must go via US Post Office Priority Mail. (Shipping
Policy Updated 5/28/11 re: FedEx as our choice)
When your order ships, you receive an email
message with the tracking number and instructions for how
to track your order's delivery progress. (Please scroll
up on this page to the Ordering Help section for details
about Tracking Your Orders.)
Sorry No International
Shipping
After investigating the multitude of import
prohibitions and tariffs (unique even within EU countries)
we have concluded that it's simply not possible for us to
ship any items with an assurance that they will arrive at
the buyer's address in another country. Additionally, customs
charges are ever changing, and we are sorry we don't know
how to automate charging the ever-changing customs fees.
For these reasons, we are currently not shipping internationally.
Promo Codes and
Special Sale Items
Promo Codes do not apply to special sales
items, because these items are usually discounted below
dealer cost.
Our Return/Cancellation
Policy
Please read the entire return policy before
making your purchase or contacting us about returns. Then,
give us a call with any questions you may have. Scroll to
the bottom of this page for our phone number.
Any return of a purchased product is at the
sole discretion of PersonalSecurityZone.com. Returns are
processed on a case-by-case basis, and the item must be
unopened & unused in the original package. This is because
we must be able to resell the item as a new item.
Most orders ship within 24 hours, therefore
for the purpose of this policy Cancellations are the same
as Returns. (See Additional Return Policy Information Regarding
Cancellations at the bottom of this section for details.)
We do not guarantee that you can return all
items. Absolutely No Returns on firearms, black powder guns
and accessories, airguns and airgun accessories, ammunition,
parts, electronic equipment (including but not limited to
radios, cameras, stun guns, blast knuckles and any other electronic devices), magazines, stocks and barrels,
software (including but not limited to DVDs and video games), apparel
(including but not limited to gloves, belts, glasses, ear
muffs, ear plugs, backpacks, knee pads, protective vests)
and special sale items.
If an item was damaged in shipment, it is
the customer's responsibility to initiate a shipping damage
claim from the shipper: UPS, FedEx or US Post Office. We
will provide information about how to initiate a claim,
upon request. However, we do not prepay shipping damage
claims, because this is a matter between the recipient and
the shipping company.
If we agree to return an item, a restocking
fee may be applied before refunding your payment. Our restocking
fee is 25% - 50% of the price you paid for the item, depending
on the item, with a minimum of $15. (In the case of items
correctly described on our Web pages, such as when a customer
purchases an accessory item that clearly is not specified
to fit their firearm, restocking fee can be as high as 50%
in these cases.) This is necessary to cover the costs of
acquiring, shipping and reselling items that have been returned.
Therefore, please make sure you have answered all your pre-sales
questions and that you want an item before placing your
order for it. We do not refund initial shipping charges
or return shipping charges.
We do not refund shipping. However, if for
some exception at our discretion we agree to reimburse or
refund shipping charges, the reimbursed amount can not exceed
the original shipping amount on your order. For example,
if you have the UPS Store repackage and ship your item,
or if you decide to ship via expedited rates, we do not
reimburse the additional charges over and above the shipping
you paid on your original order.
In cases where the returned item may be approved
for reimbursement or exchange, and a replacement item is
sent before the returning item has been received by us -
your credit card will be billed for the item and then credited
later on, after your return item has been received.
Items can only be returned within 30 days
of date-of-order. (Return Policy Updated
08/12/10)
Important: You must
request a return authorization before returning your item,
or it will be refused at the post office.
All manufacturers' warranties, restrictions
and conditions apply to the items you purchase. This means
that any defects in manufacturing or damage in shipping
will be covered by the manufacturers' warranty shipping
insurance. In case of manufacturers' defects and warranty
repairs, PersonalSecurityZone.com will provide instructions
for contacting the manufacturer.
In the case of shipping damage, we will process
a shipping claim with the shipper (Federal Express, United
Parcel Service or US Post Office, and you will be refunded
upon settlement or earlier, depending on the conditions
of your loss (decided on a case-by-case basis).
Additional Return Policy Information Regarding
Cancellations
When you click on the final order form button
that says "Click here to submit your order" you
will see an important message next to the button. "(Clicking
this button is your authorization for us to charge your
credit card & ship your items as per the time period
specified on the product page. This is a legal agreement
to pay for the products you have purchased. Cancelled orders
are subject to our limited return policy as detailed on
our help page.)". This message means that your order
is immediately subject to our Return Policy described above
on this page. Since orders can be processed and shipped
within a few minutes or hours, "cancellations"
are defined as "returns" and treated the same
a "returns" and as the message stats, "Cancelled
orders are subject to our limited return policy."

we save your billing information in our files. We also save
your shipping address in our files. On a regular basis,
such as yearly, we delete your information from our files.
